This month, destination for Contributory Monthly Lunch was “Spring Restaurant” Hotel Radisson Blu on 9th February 2024. Shifting from the Food Court of Pacific Mall to Radisson Blu hotel, was a gamble but was whole heartedly welcomed by the members who were there in large number, to enjoy lavish lunch together in the 5-star ambience.
Chorus, after the lunch was, next time and always same venue. Contributory Monthly Lunch at Seniors Hub Dwarka, popularly known as SHD, is a routine affair now where members eat together with their spouse, yes presence of spouse is mandatory.
Shri RK Jain, President of SHD says that it is an opportunity for spouse to come out of their routine kitchen to enjoy with fellow ladies of the group. This occasion is used by them to share their experience and form informal groups to spend quality time together.
Ravi Jaitley, General Secretary of the SHD reiterates that it is the spouses of the members who keep track of the monthly lunch date, which generally happens on 2nd Thursday of every month, and bring their better half to the lunch. One can see great camaraderie and bonhomie between members.
