After this, India imposed many sanctions including cancelling the Indus Water Treaty. Pakistani citizens were asked to return to their country and terrorist hideouts in Pakistan were targeted. After this, the armies of both the countries were face to face. For about four days, both countries kept on carrying out air attacks on each other. After this, Pakistani DGMO talked to Indian DGMO and a ceasefire was agreed upon. Before this, many missiles and drones were fired on each other by both the countries.
