Mohali : TDISCRWA organised tree Plantation Drive today by planting more than 30 plants in a park near kothi nos 780 to 805 in sector 117 TDI Mohali. Local residents including senior citizens women and children planted trees and also took pledges to nourish and water them. Tree Plantation Drive is being organised twice in a year. One during monsoon and the other on Guru Nanak Dev Ji Jayanti. Since Nov 2021 More than 350 trees not only have been planted but every effort is made for regular watering.
Shri Anil Kumar Parashar said that these Plantation drives are being organised to build a community of nature lovers and revive our planet with greenery. Our next plantation drive shall be in collaboration with Sunny Beasant Residents Welfare Association 117 Mohali in the first week of August 2024.
